Workshop Description
This workshop is designed to be both education and experiential. We suggest you bring a notebook to take your own notes and we will hand out some information to take home as well. On the experiential side, we will do a mix of partner practices and group exercises/ discussion. If you are showing up as a couple, you are welcome to do all the practices with your partner. Jenny and I will do our best to attune to what will be best for the group so some of the workshop will be designed around what the participants are wanting and needing most. We will leave room for 1:1 or 2:2 coaching if that is desired. It can be very powerful and healing to do some of the work within a safe group container and it usually ends up being just as beneficial for the observers.
The schedule will look like this:
Saturday: 9-12 and 2-5
Sunday: 9-12 and 2-5

What will I learn?
Above all else, what you will learn is how to show up authentically in your closest relationships. This requires you to practice speaking up for what you need and what you feel in an effective way (communication) while also holding a container that you feel good about (boundaries). These two practices go hand in hand. You will also learn how to deepen intimacy with yourself and others by practicing the art of presence-centered relating. We draw information from several of the top leaders in marital counseling (Terry Real, Stan Tatkin, Jayson Gaddis) as well as our own unique models for relationship development. We will teach you about the 5 levels of relationship needs, how to navigate the conflict-repair cycle, what to do when you feel stuck, as well as answer any questions you have about your specific situation. There is always a better and more informed move to make and it might not always be what you think.
Who is this workshop for?
Some people come to us because they haven't had success with traditional therapy. They want to hear from both a man and a woman, they want direct advice, and the want to witness what effective communication can look like in real time. We love sharing how we work through things and what conversations in your household could look or sound like. This is the right workshop for any individual or couple who is seeking to grow in their relational development. Any age above 18, any ethnicities, any sexual orientation, any religious affiliation, and any relationship status is welcome. We know you will find value no matter where you are. You are also welcome to bring a non-romantic partner such as a friend or family member. The only people who this is not a good fit for are for people who are experiencing domestic abuse, who are currently dealing with an active addiction to substances, or who really don't want to show up. We don't want anyone dragged in here.
What is the cost?
We want this workshop to be available to as many people as possible so we are offering it a highly discounted rate compared to our private coaching rate of $350/hr.
The cost of the two-day 12-hour workshop for an individual is $499 and the cost for a couple attending is $799.

How do I sign up?
How can i convince my partner to show up if they don't want to?
We don't want anyone showing up if they don't want to and it's okay to start practicing authenticity before the workshop starts by sharing that this is a really meaningful experience that you want to have together.
Is what we share confidential?
Yes, Jenny and I adhere to HIPPA laws so we do not share information or testimonials outside of the workshop. We cannot control what other participants do but, we do ask that others agree to not share anyone else's personal information outside of the workshop.
How many people will be in attendance?
For these smaller workshops, we will cap the participant sign ups at 12. This allows us to give every participant our attention.
will food or drink be provided?
No, we will give you a 2-hour lunch break. We suggest you bring any drinks or snacks that you want. Water will be available.
Where is the workshop and where do i stay?
We will be having the workshop in a resort community called Desert Color. There are pickleball courts, a small restaurant, and water amenities at the resort if you decide to stay in Desert Color. If you decide to stay in St. George, everything is within 15 minutes of the community.
what if I have more questions or want to speak with you first?
You can email me at [email protected] or Jenny at [email protected] and we will be happy to answer your questions or set up a short phone call.
